Real Intimate Wedding: Julie and Jeremy

Eloped-A Commitment to Love

Patriots Day or more commonly known
as 9/11 was the date for this destination commitment ceremony between two military lovers.

Julie and Jeremy came down from North Carolina right before Hurricane Florence made landfall in Wrightsfield Beach, NC. After checking on loved ones they turned their focus on each other and the love they shared. An unexpected last minute snafu changed their wedding day to a commitment day as a rule in the military prevented them from legally getting married.

The bride called in a bit of a state but I assured her that their love for each other was the same no matter what and that was what we were celebrating. Besides, they could always have another wedding later when they met the army’s requirements.  She had already picked out a pretty strapless formal fit and flair wedding gown. (Since the groom hasn’t seen it yet , I won’t be posting a picture of it) So with that good feeling tucked in, and plans for a legal marriage on a tropical island in about a year, the bride went shopping for a second dress, one less formal and absolutely sexy.

A short and lightweight bejeweled dress was just the right call.

The bride touched up her makeup she had professionally done at a nearby salon in Kissimmee.

A fishbone plait and jeweled headband complimented her style. The dress, a halter neckline hemmed short with a  keyhole back and waist cut outs accentuated her tattoos and body art. Bare feet completed the look.

White dress shirt, Khaki shorts and camo crocs is casual-perfect for the man of the hour.

After a heartfelt ceremony in which the couple shared their deepest feelings and promises to each other in almost whispered voices we took to the outdoors for a couple  of pictures. The couple shed their shoes and reveled in their first moments of their commitment.

The recent rains had left a plethora of green and healthy looking foliage.

Like the tree branch their individual lives have joined and love has culminated into one life.
