Real Intimate Wedding: Kyle and Stacey

Image
Before I deploy to Germany… Millennials, Battle buddies, Married. Kyle and Stacey say I DO in a super intimate wedding in Oviedo. Learning he was soon to be deployed or stationed in Germany, Kyle expressed how important it was to get married before he left. I want to be able to bring my wife with me over to Germany. Bride Stacey was a higher ranking officer when she was in the military but currently is out of service due to injury. So they had the perfect window to get married. On a daytime talk show recently one of the hosts stated that millennials aren’t getting married. Um…so… what is happening here? Millennials-check, getting married – double check! The happy couple just before the ceremony I DO Weddings by Sheri performs weddings of all sizes from private to low key and casual to luxurious. However, I DO Weddings by Sheri specializes in intimate and destination weddings for ALL couples (including LGBTQIA+ and mixed orientation couples). I feel especially accomplished when I can

Wedding in the Park-Lake Eola By  admin Couple: Khadijah + Phil    Location: Lake Eola Peninsula       Aug 18, 2018    I just wanted to share a few pictures of this super intimate wedding from this past Saturday. The bride found this wonderful, modern halter dress with a small train. She capped her look off with a modified birdcage veil and stunning 3 tier hanging earrings. Do you agree its so perfect for this elopement. Her shoes were bright blue with ribbon ties. I forget to get a detail shot of them but the couple was so fun to shoot I am not gonna beat myself up too much. What better place to have an intimate wedding, just for two, than beautiful Lake Eola. With all of the extra rain we have had this year, it was really green and pretty. Foliage was in superior bloom and the resident swans were out and about to provide just enough background to add that something special.  Khadijah and Phil decided on a straightforward civil ceremony with a ring exchange.  This couple didn’t need

Real Intimate Wedding: Julie and Jeremy

Eloped-A Commitment to Love Patriots Day or more commonly known as 9/11 was the date for this destination commitment ceremony between two military lovers. Julie and Jeremy came down from North Carolina right before Hurricane Florence made landfall in Wrightsfield Beach, NC. After checking on loved ones they turned their focus on each other and the love they shared. An unexpected last minute snafu changed their wedding day to a commitment day as a rule in the military prevented them from legally getting married. The bride called in a bit of a state but I assured her that their love for each other was the same no matter what and that was what we were celebrating. Besides, they could always have another wedding later when they met the army’s requirements.  She had already picked out a pretty strapless formal fit and flair wedding gown. ( Since the groom hasn’t seen it yet , I won’t be posting a picture of it ) So with that good feeling tucked in, and plans for a legal marriage on a tro

Real Wedding 2015 It’s 2015! Couples are already tying the knot as the New Year gets off to a wonderful start. Here is one of my 1st wonderful couples that exchanged I Do’s the first week in 2015.  A lovely intimate ceremony surrounded by the downtown Orlando scape. Downtown Publix provided the wedding confection of cake and cupcakes. I didn’t bring my camera so these are all taken with my Samsung Galaxy Note 4. Bride  Terri Baker Thomas Groom  Eric Creamer Wedding date  01/03/2015 Venue  Kasa Restaurant and Tapas Bar Orlando Terri a Mental Health therapist and Eric a Sous chef at Universal met and fell  head over heels in love.  One of the things that was important to this couple was that it was very small, very intimate affair with just close family. Terri did not want to be out in the heat and wanted somewhere close to where they lived. Kasa was perfect because they could close off the area they were using for the ceremony and reception with the loving wooden doors that still all

Real Wedding: Natiesha and Daniel

Real Wedding at Noah’s Event Venue-Lake Mary Florida By  admin Meet Natiesha and Daniel. This fantastic bwwm couple tied the knot earlier this year at Noah’s Event Venue located in Lake Mary Florida. Their formal religious ceremony was filled with prayers, heartfelt and funny vows that they each wrote, a candle ceremony and even a unique wedding unity ceremony. There were lots of tears and even a few belly laughs during the ceremony. The vows were so beautiful and personal that there was not a dry eye in the house. The couple asked that no pictures be taken by their guests of the ceremony so they could be present and in the moment with them. I personally love that because then the guests are not distracted and the photographer does not have to take pictures around guests trying to get their own best shots. The bride wore a beautiful fit and flair gown with detailing throughout the  bodice down to the flared skirt.  Her hair was accented by a veil and crown. Her bouquet consisted most
